Rules for accepting Apple equipment for warranty repair

Warranty repair of Apple equipment is carried out only with a properly and clearly completed warranty card and purchase receipt.

The warranty card must contain the following information in the appropriate fields:

  • Serial number and model of the product,
  • Date of sale (must be the same in the receipt and warranty card),
  • Warranty service period,
  • Seller’s company stamp,
  • When submitting equipment for warranty repair, it is allowed to use a warranty card with the abbreviation ASBIS / ERC,
  • Any corrections and adjustments in the warranty card are prohibited.

In case of loss or damage to the warranty card or receipt, you must contact the seller for duplicates.

The receipt must contain the following information:

  • Receipt (or invoice) number,
  • Date of sale,
  • Sale price,
  • Code, model and name of the product,
  • Product serial number,
  • Information about the reseller (company name, address, phone, OKPO code),
  • Stamp (if applicable).

Exceptions:

In the absence of documents, warranty service is provided by the seller.

Important! From 01.09.2018, warranty service for Apple smartphones on the territory of Ukraine may be carried out through component repair.
Component repair means replacing an individual part, not replacing the entire device.
We also draw your attention to the fact that when submitting a device for warranty service, it can only be accepted with a properly completed warranty card and a receipt confirming the purchase.

Important! From 22.01.2018, Apple equipment must be submitted for repair with:

  • Disabled activation lock (iPhone, iPad, MacBook):

  • Up-to-date software version:

    Apple software update

If the Apple device was purchased outside Ukraine, you must provide purchase documents. When purchasing Apple products abroad, do not forget to obtain and keep documents confirming the purchase of the device.

If an Apple device purchased in Ukraine turns out to have been sold by Apple outside Ukraine when applying to an ASC, warranty service for such a device is not provided. In this case, the buyer will be forced to contact the seller for warranty service.

Be careful: do not purchase equipment from dubious companies and online stores.

General information about warranty and activation:

  • Warranty for the end user is 12 months from the moment of device activation,
  • For each Apple device, a so-called activation procedure takes place at the moment of switching on, which marks the beginning of the device’s use,
  • Information about the activation date is recorded at the system level and cannot be changed or corrected,
  • If, at the time of contacting the service center, it turns out that the device was activated before the date of actual sale, the service center reserves the right to carry out warranty repair according to the device activation date. In the event that the device is activated before the sale date, the service center, in accordance with Apple’s service policy, is not authorized to fill out the warranty card,
  • The warranty period after servicing Apple equipment is the residual warranty of the main product or 90 days — whichever provides longer coverage.
